Creating a Lead with AntMyERP
AntMyERP simplifies the process of capturing and managing new business opportunities. A lead represents an inquiry or potential deal that enters your system either from an existing customer or a new prospect.
To create a lead, go to Quick Add → Inquiry, or open CRM Sales → Lead from the left-hand menu. The index view displays all existing leads. Click the plus icon on the right to open the lead creation form.
If the inquiry comes from an existing customer type the company name in the Requester Company field and select it from the dropdown.
The system will automatically populate details like branch, contact person and email. If the customer doesn’t exist in the database, you can add them as a new prospect by entering the company name, contact person, phone number and email ID.
Next, assign the lead to an employee responsible for handling it. You can also link it to a campaign, add a senior person to the watchlist, and define start date, due date, and estimated closing date. Set the priority, order probability and choose the lead source (e.g., Facebook, Google, reference). Documents related to the inquiry can also be uploaded.
You can define a priority matrix (urgent/important), add a reference number, select a reporting tag, and provide a lead title. If the lead came via a tender, connect it to the relevant tender already created in the system.
Once all details are filled, click Save. The system will generate a lead ticket number. Leads can be viewed and tracked under the Lead Index, showing key details like lead age, owner, value, and title.
With AntMyERP, creating and managing leads becomes structured, traceable, and efficient thus ensuring every business inquiry is captured and followed up effectively.
