How to create Product Categories?

 

In this video, we’ll teach you how to upload products in bulk to the system.

To begin, go to the index view of the product. You can access it quickly by pressing Ctrl + Space and typing Product. Once you’re on the product index page first click on the three dots located on the right hand side of the screen.

Here, you’ll find options to Import or Download. To upload products, select Import then download the sample file provided by the system. This file serves as a template where you can fill in all product details such as product name, description, category and other attributes.

Once your data is ready upload the completed Excel sheet back into the system using the import option. This process enables you to add hundreds of products instantly without manual data entry.

At the initial setup stage when the ERP is blank entering products one by one can be tedious. Bulk uploading through Excel simplifies this process significantly and saves time.

If an incorrect product is uploaded, it can be easily corrected. Go to the Action column and choose Edit, Delete or Copy. Selecting Edit opens the product form, where details like the product name or description can be updated. Once changes are made then click Save.

Similarly, if you want to duplicate an existing product, use the Copy function this opens the same form with pre filled details. Just modify the name or any required field and save it as a new product entry.

This method ensures your product database remains accurate, organized, and scalable.
