How to log an Instant Service Ticket with Serial Number?

In this video, we’ll guide you through the process of logging an instant service call a quick and efficient way to create service tickets using just a serial number.

Normally, logging a service call requires filling out a detailed form. But with Instant Service, you can skip most of that. Simply go to Quick Add, click on the Service Ticket Form, and then select the Instant Service icon.

Enter the serial number of the device. Once you do then the system automatically retrieves all related information including the customer’s name, branch and other relevant details. This feature eliminates the need to manually enter customer or device data.

You’ll see details like the main branch, contact person, coordinator, and assignee responsible for attending the call. You can also add a senior or team member to the watch list for visibility. Next, enter the due date, priority, estimated time, and percentage of work done.

If required, connect the ticket to a parent task, select the department, source, priority matrix and problem type. You can also add a customer reference number, special instructions, or reporting tag.

Since the serial number was entered at the beginning, the system auto-fills the device details. Add any specific message, review the information and click Save.

That’s it the call is instantly logged and a unique call log number is generated.

The Instant Service feature saves time also ensures accuracy and makes call logging faster than ever.
