How to add Department?

 

Adding a Department with AntMyERP

AntMyERP allows you to easily create and manage departments within your organization to maintain a clear HR and reporting structure. You can add departments in two ways — through Settings then HR Master or directly from the Organization Profile.

To begin first go to the Settings icon on the left-hand side of the dashboard. Once opened, select Masters and then click on HR. Under HR choose the Department option. On the right hand side click on the Plus icon to add a new department. Enter the department name and save it.

If a department with the same name already exists the system will display an error indicating that the department is already created thus helping to avoid duplicates.

The second method is through the Organization Profile. Navigate to the Organization Profile to view your company’s basic details such as branch and location. Under the department section, click the Plus icon on the right hand side. From the drop down menu, select an existing department or click Plus again to create a new one.

Once the department is added, assign it to the appropriate branch. After saving, it will appear in the Index View, displaying the department name along with its associated branch.

You can now link teams to this department while creating team structures within the system.
