How to add Opening Fix Assets?

 

Adding Opening Fixed Assets in AntMyERP

AntMyERP allows you to add fixed assets easily, whether individually or in bulk, so your asset register is up to date from the start. To add opening fixed assets, press Ctrl + Space, type “Opening,” and select Opening Fixed Asset. This opens the index view where all fixed assets are listed. Alternatively, you can go to Settings, click Finance, and then select Fixed Asset Entry under the Finance module.

To add a single fixed asset, click Action and select Add Stock. The asset form opens, where you can fill in details like the branch and location, stock entry date, quantity, serial number, rate, warranty start and end dates, and the vendor providing the warranty.

You can also add any remarks for reference. Once saved, the asset is recorded in the system and immediately reflected in your reports.

For large inventories, AntMyERP provides a bulk import option. Click Import, download the sample file, fill in the asset details, and upload it back to the system. This allows multiple assets to be added at once, saving time and ensuring accuracy, while reducing manual errors significantly.

Once entered, these fixed assets can also be issued to employees as needed. Whether adding assets one by one or in bulk, this process ensures that your fixed asset register is complete, accurate, and ready for management and reporting.
