How to create Salary Setup?
Setting Up Employee Salary with AntMyERP
AntMyERP simplifies salary management by allowing you to define components, link them to employees and automate calculations efficiently.
Before assigning salaries you must first create salary components such as Basic Salary, HRA and Special Allowance. To begin, click on the Settings icon on the left-hand menu and go to the Master section. Select the HR module then click on Salary Component.
Here, you’ll see all existing components like Mobile Allowance, House Allowance, Basic, and HRA. To add a new one, click on Other then the plus icon on the right-hand side. Enter the earning name, for example, Basic ABC or HRA and save. These will now appear in the system list.
Next, define the percentage or fixed amount for each component. Click on a component to edit and choose the Earning Type. You can specify calculations either as a fixed amount or a percentage of gross salary. Activate the component, enable options like PF, ESIC, and whether it should appear on the pay slip or be included in gross earnings. Save your settings once configured.
After creating and activating all components, go to Organization Profile → Team and open the employee’s profile. Enter the total salary then click Calculate. The system automatically divides the amount based on the defined components and percentages.
You can also define deduction components (like PF or Tax) under the HR module using the same method.
