Inactivate a product category

How do I inactivate a product category in AntMyERP?

In AntMyERP, it is not possible to set a Product Category as inactive block or delete it. However, you can block individual products that are associated with the product category. Here’s how you can block a product:

Log in to your AntMyERP account.
Ensure you have administrative, superadmin, or the necessary permissions to access the Settings section.
Navigate to the Settings area.
Within Settings, go to the “Masters” section.
Select “Sales CRM.”
Choose “Product.”
Search for the specific product you want to block.
Locate the product in the list and click on the action icon next to it. Then, choose “Edit.”
In the product editing interface, find the “Status” field and select “Block” from the dropdown menu.
Save the changes.
By blocking the product, it will no longer appear when you’re creating new Quotations, Challans, or Invoices.

Please note that while you cannot directly set a Product Category as inactive, you can achieve a similar result by ensuring that all the products within that category are blocked. This will effectively prevent those products from being used in new transactions.

 

Change the product category of a product

How can I change the product category of a product in AntMyERP?

Log in to AntMyERP: Access your AntMyERP account by logging in with your credentials.

Check Admin Access: Ensure that you have admin, superadmin, or the necessary permissions to access the Settings.

Navigate to Settings: Once logged in, navigate to the Settings.

Access Masters: Within the Settings, locate and access the Masters section.

Select CRM Sales: From the available options, choose CRM Sales.

Choose the Product: Inside the CRM Sales locate the Product tab. Search for and select the specific product for which you want to change the category.

Initiate Editing: Identify the action icon next to the chosen product and click on it. Select the “Edit” function.

Make the Changes: In the editing interface, you’ll be able to modify the product details. Change the product’s category from the dropdown and then save the changes and exit.

Please note that once a product that has been assigned to a specific serial number category, it can be changed to another serial number category, but not to a category without serial numbers, and vice versa.

How can I add and view the product category hierarchy in AntMyERP?

Log in to AntMyERP: Access your AntMyERP account by logging in with your credentials.

Check Admin Access: Ensure that you have admin, superadmin, or the necessary permissions to access the Settings.

Navigate to Settings: Once logged in, go to the Settings section.

Access Masters: Within the Settings, locate and access the Masters

Select CRM Sales: From the available options, choose CRM Sales.

Choose the Product Category:

Click on the ‘+ Add’ button on the top.Add the Product category name.

Select Manage and track the category from the dropdown.

Choose the parent category to create a hierarchy.

Complete the remaining details and save the changes.

View the Product Category Hierarchy:

An icon representing the product category hierarchy will be visible at the top of the product category index page.

 

Issue with adding a product

Encountering an issue while trying to add a product or model with MPS/Per Page/FSMA Quotation in AntMyERP. An error is appearing stating that the product is not in MPS. How can I address this problem?

Log in to AntMyERP: Access your AntMyERP account by logging in using your credentials.

Check Admin Access: Ensure that you possess admin, superadmin, or the necessary permissions to access the Settings.

Navigate to Settings: After logging in, go to the Settings section.

Access Masters: Inside the Settings, locate and access the Masters section.

Select CRM Sales: From the available options, choose CRM Sales.

Choose the Product Category: Search for the desired category, click on the action icon, and select ‘Edit’.

Edit MPS Settings: Within the product category, Go to MPS and tick the ‘Mono’ or ‘Color’ option based on the product’s specifications. Configure settings for A4 Print, A4 Scan, A3 Print, and A3 Scan accordingly as per specification.

Save and Create: Save your changes and create the product. By following these steps, the issue should be resolved.

 

Unable to delete a product in the quotation?

How to rectify the error “The product is already used in a proposal in AntMyERP” that comes while deleting a product?

Products which have been used in a Quotation, Contract, Challan, or Invoice cannot be deleted. However, you can block them.

To block the product:

Log in to AntMyERP.

Ensure you have access as an admin, superadmin, or the required permissions to access Settings. Navigate to Settings.

In Settings, Go to Masters. Choose CRM Sales.

Select “Product.” Search for the product you want to block.

Click on the action icon next to the product and choose “Edit.” Go to the “Status”, select “Block,” from Dropdown and then save the changes.

The product will be blocked and will not appear when you create a new Quotation, Challan, or Invoice.
