1.What is Care pack of the product?

“Care Pack” is like an extra layer of protection for your product. It’s an extended warranty or service plan that goes beyond the basic warranty. With a Care Pack, you get added benefits like repairs, replacements, and technical support, and sometimes even coverage for accidental damage. It’s a way to keep your product safe and give you peace of mind, especially for things like electronics or appliances.

 

2. How can I add a Care Pack to a product that’s already in the system?

If you need to add a Care Pack to an existing product, here’s what you do:

First, you’ll need to purchase the Care Pack for that specific product from your vendor.

After that, go to the Care Pack page in the portal.

Find the product by selecting its serial number from the list.

Right-click on the serial number and select “Open Care Pack Details.”

In the details section, fill in the necessary information like the product name, serial number, current warranty details, and the extended warranty you’re adding.

You can also upload any relevant documents and add remarks if needed.

Finally, map the Care Pack product you purchased from the vendor to this serial number.

Once you’ve done this, the product’s warranty will be extended according to the Care Pack you’ve added.

 

3. What if I accidentally add the Care Pack details for the wrong product?

If you accidentally add Care Pack details for Product A but select Product B’s serial number, don’t worry! The system has your back. It will show you a validation message saying, “Product mismatch with selected Serial No.,” and you won’t be able to proceed with adding the Care Pack details. This helps ensure that the correct Care Pack is always matched with the right product. Just double-check your selection and try again with the correct serial number!
